Seit einiger Zeit sorgt ACTA, das umstrittene internationale Handelsübereinkommen zur Bekämpfung von Produkt- und Markenpiraterie, in Europa für große Diskussionen. Nicht nur Bürger, die ihre Grundrechte bedroht sehen, kritisieren dieses "Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement", das zwischen der EU, der Schweiz, den USA, Kanada, Australien, Mexiko, Korea etc. geschlossen werden soll. Auch eco, der Verband der deutschen Internetwirtschaft, meldet große Bedenken an.
